Description

4h 20min of integral Ha exposure of the area at the tip of the "giant dust hook" structure sitting halfway between Alpha and Beta Cen on WSSA 12um survey [1] - captured remotely Telescope #1 (ASA-RC D = 1m f/6.8, FLI ProLine 16803) system of ChileScope observatory over 4 imaging sessions carried out on May 26, 27, 29, 30 of 2023.

This is a continuation of work started under [2] using Chilescope T3 instrument:

Full resolution of images under revisions B and D are also available under [3] and [4] respectively:

There is a strong indication of some sort of loop structure in the "central spire" in this image that wasn't revealed before under [2] (crop, 50% scale, inverted - the full resolution is available under revision D):

The presence of curved structures visible in Ha but absent in WSSA 12 mkm data is confirmed in both T3 [2] and this T1 image (the full resolution is available under revision L):

It is possible that these structures are seen in the visible range at this level of details for the first time. Please let me know if you see any reference to them in the literature. Thanks!
